Tip #12…Don’t Skip Meals!

Skipping meals will actually slow down your metabolism and hinder your weight loss! Be sure to eat every few hours and don’t skip meals. Most importantly, eat the right food and don’t eat too much. Your metabolism is like a fire that is burning and it needs fuel to keep it burning. Every few hours, when you eat something healthy, you put fuel on that fire to help it continue to burn. If you don’t give the fire fuel, it will go out, which is your metabolism slowing down. Nobody wants to slow down their metabolism! A fire needs to be given fuel to keep burning, so be sure to fuel your metabolism. Don’t skip breakfast, lunch or dinner. Healthy snacks are good. Just make good choices and help your metabolism to keep burning!
