3 Things That Changed My Family in 2016

As I reflect back on 2016, I first think of the many, many highs and amazing changes in my life. I have connected to many people that have truly changed how I feel about myself and how I wake up and live each day. I also see how many people that have been in my life, and have seen my highs and lows, continue to support and encourage me on any journey I take. This means so much every day. The people we surround ourself with gives us perspective and energy. Surround yourself with those that encourage, empower and inspire you. Also, surround yourself with people that can truly be real with you. Life is not always roses, and we need to be able real, honest and authentic with those close with us. Obviously, this won’t be everyone in your life, but find those people you can truly be yourself with.

There were many lows this year in our family and I am sure you had your share of lows as well. I am thankful we have God in our life and that we have our family and friends, because these lows can be hard. This is where our faith comes in and we know that God will get us through. We do all we can to help our family and friends, but at the end of the day, we have to look toward God to help us through. We can’t always change or fix what is going on. Faith will get us through. With that said, I am choosing to find all that I am grateful for and trusting God in the New Year. There is ALWAYS much to be grateful for.

So much influenced and inspired me this last year. There was much that was heavy, but to stay light and to choose joy, I am going to focus on simple gratitude and good. So for simplicity’s sake, and for you to be able to take away something unbelievably good that you too can benefit from, I am giving you three amazing things that truly changed my life and my family’s life this last year. These are three things that everyone could benefit from. I mean it. I truly do.

First and foremost, my puppy. All the quotes are true. What everyone says is true. Life with a dog is just better…so much better. The love is never-ending. When anyone is down, she brings them up. She is a family member, a friend and someone that truly loves all of us unconditionally. When everyone thinks mom is mean and grumpy, she just thinks I am super duper great…come on now, nothing better than that. Mom always needs some support.

Second, I went against all that I believed and bought a fancy vacuum this year. My sister-n-law had been telling me for years and I just never believed I needed to spend that much on a vacuum. Let me just tell you….I was so wrong. My Dyson V6 Animal Cordless vacuum has changed my world!!! It is so easy, so convenient and we all (kids included) still get excited when it is our turn to vacuum. I just LOVE it. No lie.

Third, and still something that I can’t believe I found is Isagenix. It is likely you have heard me talk about it, and it is highly likely you will hear me talk about it again. This is something I always hoped to find, but never really thought it was possible. An amazing tool in my toolbox as a trainer and health enthusiast. So here they are….the reasons I love Isagenix.

I just have to share something when it has changed how I feel in such a healthy way.

So for 2017, I am grateful I already have a puppy to love, an amazing vacuum and my Superfoods. I can’t wait to see what is coming next.
