Weekly Vibes

Happy Monday! It is a new week and there is so much going on. We have been busy. It is time to set your vibes for the week and plan for a good one. We are here to help.

New this Week

If you haven’t checked out my new website, please do ??. Over the years, I have been working on many product ideas that I finally finished, and we have brought them to you. There are several free downloads for you on our website, and we are still working on more free encouragement products and challenges to bring to you very soon.

Encouragement this Week

We have a new way to connect and encourage each other?. If you are on Facebook, join our private group Healthy Vibes Today for daily encouragement and support each day. We hope you join us!

Verse of the Week

“But Martha was distracted by all the preparations for that had to be made. ‘Martha, Martha,’ the Lord answered, ‘you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed.'” – Luke 10:40-42 NIV

With so many worldly distractions, in order to have balance, we have to be connected to God first. This is so good for our monthly challenge (see below). Stop trying to juggle everything, seek God first, then prioritize what you do each day, making yourself one of those priorities. (From the devotion in First Light, Women’s Daily Devotional & Journal p.39)

Challenge for September

For the rest of this month, I challenge you to do something every single day to take care of YOUR self. Make at least one good choice every day to better your mind, heart, soul or health. You won’t regret it. Check out my previous blog post on Self-Care.

Book Recommendation this Month

The Gifts of Imperfection  A good read by Brene’ Brown.

Just finished this book for the third time. It’s been 3 years since my first time reading. If you want to feel YOUR best and fully live YOUR life, truly being YOU, read this book. It is a must.

Brené Brown has written some life changing books. She is absolutely one of my favorite writers and researchers…..she says, “…meaningful change is a process. It can be uncomfortable and is often risky….,the question that we must ultimately answer is this: What’s the greater risk? Letting go of what people think or letting go of how I feel, what I believe, and who I am?”

The truth is that change is not usually easy or comfortable, but it can, and probably will, make YOU come ALIVE.

We all have the opportunity to live and love with our whole hearts, and this takes everyday courage and honesty.

This book has so many good nuggets, honesty, and aha moments. It will become your heart’s handbook that you go back to again and again.

Have a good week and enjoy today,
