Happy Monday! I love a new week. A chance to start fresh, challenge yourself in new ways, make different choices, be productive and move closer to your dreams. It is time to set your vibes for the week and plan for a good one. Remember, YOU get to choose. We are always here to help.
New this Week
We would love for you to join us for more daily encouragement! Last week we started a new way to connect and encourage each other ????. If you are on Facebook, join our private group Healthy Vibes Today for daily encouragement and support. Having somewhere you can check into each day that is positive and uplifting can change your life, one day at a time. Every bit of positive we can get each day can help us to feel our best, and handle what each day brings.
Encouragement this Week
Yesterday morning, I listened to this podcast from Lori Harder, which I felt went along with the choices we are trying to make to feel our best. Most of us have some degree of feeling anxious or down. Yes, many of us, are more severe than others, and may need help outside of ourselves. Anxiety and depression are real for so many, and this increasingly fast-paced, pressure filled, social media, comparison world isn’t helping. I feel you have to step back and find out what you are doing that is helping how you feel, and what choices we make that actually contribute to the anxiety or sadness.
In the podcast, Lori says to take time to think about how you “do anxiety”, or how you “do feeling down”. What is it that you “do” that is adding to your anxiousness? Social media, comparing your life to others, too much caffeine, alcohol, or maybe people that you are around. What are you not doing that might help, exercise, better rest, meditation, prayer, or spending more time with people that lift you up for who you are?
Take time to listen if this resonates with you. Don’t feel that there isn’t help. With most of us, when we become honest and aware, we can have the courage to begin making small changes each day to begin to feel better. It takes time. I am not saying it is easy, but I am saying it is possible. Just start, one choice at a time, one day at a time.
Verse of the Week
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9
This is my favorite verse. Life can be hard. Parenting can be hard. Taking care of your parents can be hard. Relationships can be hard. Teenagers can be hard. But, I love life, I love parenting, I love my parents, I love my relationships and I love my teenager a lot. For this, I won’t give up.
Don’t become weary my friends, get rest if you need it, step back, take a break, but do not give up on doing the good that you are here to do.
Challenge for This Week
We are still in the challenge for this month to do something every single day to take care of YOUR self. Make at least one good choice every day to better your mind, heart, soul or health. I would love to hear how you are doing. Reach out please!
For this week, I also challenge you to take time and think if there is something you should stop doing. Pray about it. Maybe there is something that has been on your mind. If so, pray, write it in your journal, and make that choice if you need to.

Recommendation this Week
A Year of Miracles by Marianne Williamson. This is a book of daily devotions and reflections. It is inspirational, uplifting, and reminds me every day to be who God made me to be, to always choose love, and to expect miracles.
Enjoy the week my friends! Take time to choose good vibes each day. 🙂
