#129: Caught Not Taught

Are you just preaching and lecturing your kid, but not actually living your life that way? Get honest with yourself. We need to become aware, and grow as a person as well. Our kids need to see us learn from mistakes, make better choices, and own it when we are wrong. If you really want to influence your kids, pay attention to what you are giving them an example of.

Challenge: Be the example you want your kids to be.

Resource: Grow up: Becoming the parent your kids deserve.
