A December to Remember

A December to Remember

As we start the last three weeks leading up to Christmas, let’s do our best to feel our best. When things get too busy and start feeling out of control, I go back to basics. I take one day at a time and I try my best to simplify what I need to do each day. Here is a simple schedule I am using for the next three weeks to stay calm and feel good. We are going to alternate our days with 20 minute workouts, with one day for cardio, and one day for a strength workout. If you want a basic strength workout, reach out to me to be sure you get it.

On the right side of the calendar are some daily reminders for me. These can easily be forgotten if I don’t remind myself. These are the small things that help me feel more balanced. I do my best to take time in the morning for prayer, devotion and planning time for the day. At some point each day, I am going to take 5 minutes of quiet time. Lastly, each day I am going to stretch, plank and get my 8 glasses of water in. These three things will do wonders for how your body feels for the next 3 weeks.

That is it for now. I will send you some encouragement and other tips over the next 3 weeks, but I want to keep it simple. Just don’t stop moving. Give yourself this time each day, so you feel your best during this wonderful season. Be kind to yourself. This time of year is beautiful, but can be such a struggle for some, for many reasons. So be kind to yourself, be kind to others and take time for yourself every single day.

Enjoy today!
